Beginning Our Week
We believe Sunday begins our week (historically for the church Sunday was the first day in commemoration of Easter and Christ's resurrection). And while we live out our faith and are the church throughout the week, Sunday is the time we bring the entire family together to recenter and focus on God.
We meet at Horizon Community Church in Highlands Ranch, CO, just off C-470 and University Blvd. Click here to see a map.
The Weekly Gathering
We have one service at 11:00 a.m.
Whether you prefer to attend church dressed up or in casual clothing, please come as you are comfortable. Our service includes music, a 20 minute teaching, liturgy/prayer and often special times of sharing.
Our ministry to children focuses on helping children and their families discover with awe the God of the universe and deepen their relationship with Jesus. Elementary students meet together at 11:00 a.m. every Sunday to explore Scripture. Preschool children have their own class, also at 11:00 a.m., where they'll engage in age-appropriate activities to help them learn and remember a Bible story that they'll focus on for a month at a time.
In both the preschool and the elementary classes, multiple adults lead the class while high school students add the individualized attention and often the fun. With an average ratio of one volunteer for every two children, the kids are safe and loved.
